Kim Bohie : Jeju’s Greens on Canvas, A Masterpiece of Korean Painting

A premium art seminar hosted by Kwon Keun-young, culture correspondent at JoongAng Ilbo, presented exclusively for members of JoongAng Plus’s ‘The Art’ membership. Designed for those who wish not only to see art but to understand it, carry it with them, and return to it over time, the series invites viewers to hear directly from artists about the thoughts and decisions behind their work. This edition features Korean painter Kim Bohie, who has built a singular visual language over more than five decades of practice — rooted in the wonder of nature, the energy of living things, and a quiet sense of peace drawn from her life in Jeju. Through direct conversation with the artist, participants are invited to follow the journey from her inner world to her luminous green canvases.
