Where Art and Technology Meet
This talk brings together two artists who have each expanded the boundaries between art and technology, building new sensory languages through distinct but resonant practices. New media artist Jane Tao merges virtual and real worlds using 3D experimental animation and XR technology, creating works that give visual form to emotions and memories that resist ordinary expression. Research-based media artist Miru Yoo works across video, sound, and game engines to explore how fragmented histories and memories can be reconstructed and felt anew. The conversation will move through each artist’s creative philosophy and technical process, and open toward a broader reflection on where art-technology convergence is headed.
